Among the participating artists, Yeji Kim presented a curated selection of paintings created in 2024 and 2025, continuing her exploration of dreamlike hybrid beings and organic transformations.

Drawing inspiration from dreams, memory, death, and Korean folklore, her work dissolves the boundaries between the human and the non-human, reality and imagination, inviting viewers into worlds where transformation is both unsettling and poetic.

For this presentation, Kim selected three works connected by the presence of a singular, recurring being and a palette of delicate, ethereal blues. Together, the paintings trace the evolution of her artistic language over the course of two years (2024 to 2025), revealing a growing confidence in her use of color, increasingly refined visual motifs, and a more nuanced approach to visual storytelling.

While each painting stands as an independent narrative, the three works form a cohesive dialogue that reflects the progression of her practice and her continuing fascination with metamorphosis, identity, and the fluid nature of existence.
